Freya Financial Services is a wealth management firm and a Registered Investment Advisor with the Commonwealths of Massachusetts and Virginia. The firm was formed in 1998 by Linda Homsey.

Linda N. Homsey, CFP®, RLP® is the owner of Freya Financial Services. She is a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) professional. This certification means that she has met the standards set forth by the Certified Financial Planning Boards of Standards, Inc. (CFP® Board). These standards include: passing a competitive national examination, meeting extensive work experience requirements, satisfying substantial education requirements in all areas of financial planning, and conforming to the Standards of Ethics.
Linda is also a Registered Life Planner® with the Kinder Institute. Her training has supported her holistic approach to financial planning. Her goal is to help the client develop a life of purpose.
Linda was the President of the Financial Planning Association™ of Massachusetts in 2006 and also served as their Chairperson of the Membership Committee. She served on and Chaired the Chapter Leadership Resource Council with FPA™ National and served on the FPA™ National Membership Advisory Group. Linda also served on and Chaired the Heart of Financial Planning Award Task Force at the national level. She was an Adjunct Professor at Suffolk University teaching Personal Financial Planning. Linda was a speaker at WBZ’s Money Conference in March, 2005. She has appeared as a financial expert in the Boston Herald and has been quoted in Bloomberg Wealth Manager Magazine, The Boston Globe, the Boston Herald, Better Homes and Gardens.com, Ladies Home Journal.com., and Eons.com. Linda has been a guest on the radio, channels WBIZ and WPEP. As part of the requirements to stay current, Linda attends continuing professional educational seminars regularly.
Linda has been in the financial services field for over 25 years. She received her Bachelor’s of Arts from Virginia Commonwealth University. In addition, Linda received a Diploma in Financial Planning from Boston University. She was certified as a Registered Life Planner® at the Kinder Institute.
Linda and her husband Ken have 2 wonderful sons, James and Stephen. Linda enjoys spending time with her family at their place on the Corrotoman River, near the Chesapeake Bay, in Virginia. She also enjoys travel, golf, tennis, dancing, cooking, and laughter.
